ABOUT THE LX RANCH

Passed down from generation to generation, our ranch has been in the family for over 110 years. We provide quality beef with the best nutritional value possible for our families and we want to share it with you. So, we’re bringing our favorite, 100% pasture-raised angus beef to your table for your families to enjoy.

The LX Ranch is known for being the largest ranch in Potter County and still uses cowboys on horseback to work the cattle. The ranch was purchased by the family in 1910 and has been operating for six generations. The cow-calf operation now runs on over 60,000 acres and is home to horses, cows, quail, deer and various other wildlife. The beef is born and raised at the LX Ranch and those at the ranch respect the livestock. The animals’ wellbeing is of the utmost importance to the cowboys and the family.

The LX Ranch has been used for commercial beef production but is currently expanding with a small herd of pasture-raised beef. The pasture-raised beef sector began with family, friends and charity donations. As we continue to grow, supplies can and will increase depending on demand for the best beef in Texas.
