Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of beef do you offer?
100% Pasture-Raised Angus Beef
How does your body process the meat?
Grain-fed changes the chemical structure of fat to where your body puts it in reserve and converts it into your fat cells. However, the fat in pasture-raised calves is different, as your body knows what to do with it and uses it for energy instead.
Is this beef unvaccinated?
We vaccinate our calves to help raise them healthy. However, once they are vaccinated we aim to provide the most natural lifestyle for our cattle as possible.
Why are supplies limited?
We only have a limited number of cattle to sell during a very limited time period. Our ranch has been used for commercial beef production but is currently expanding with a small herd of pasture-raised beef. The pasture-raised beef sector began with family, friends and charity donations. As we continue to grow, supplies can and will increase depending on demand.
How much freezer space will this take up?
Typically, you will want to reserve one 25 cubic foot freezer for a whole beef, a 14 cubic foot freezer for a half beef and a 5-7 cubic foot freezer for a quarter beef. We recommend Circle N Appliance in Amarillo for all of your freezer needs.
